USciences is known for its commitment to the sciences, and we offer transfer students interested in physics a choice of a biophysics or a materials science track.

You are eligible for SECOND-YEAR CONSIDERATION if you have completed, at the collegiate level, the following first-year courses:
Physics I with lab 4 cr. Principles of Chemistry I & II (for science majors) with labs 8 cr. Pre-calculus & Calculus I 6 cr. 2 Semesters of Writing Intensive English 6 cr.
General Education – Humanities Requirement
Examples of humanities classes are:
- Art Appreciation
- Music Appreciation
- Philosophy—Ethics and Values
- Any foreign languages
You are eligible for THIRD-YEAR CONSIDERATION if you have completed, at the collegiate level, the above first-year courses and the following second-year coursework:
Physics II with lab 4 cr. Electronics 3 cr. Math Analysis III & IV (Calculus II and III) 8 cr. Linear Algebra (for Materials Science) 3 cr. Or Organic Chemistry I and II (for Biophysics) 8 cr. And Introductory Biology I and II (with labs) 8 cr. General Education/Free Electives 9 cr. General Education—Humanities Requirement
3 cr. General Education Requirement (Additional social science and/or humanities elective credit) 6 cr.
