The Teaching and Learning Center sponsors two awards, the Leahy Faculty Award for Learning Innovations and the Bright Idea Award, to foster teaching innovations. Individuals who submit for these awards need to complete this abstract form and present a poster at the annual educational poster session. All abstracts are compiled into the annual edition of the Document of Innovations. This document is disseminated through the university and on the Center’s webpage to give increased recognition to faculty who strive to improve their teaching.
All faculty, including full time, part time or adjunct, graduate student instructors, and staff who do formal or informal teaching or supervising clinical experiences are eligible to submit a description of their innovation for the Bright Idea Award.
