Dr. Adeboye Adejare's dream is to be involved in a drug discovery program that results in a compound that makes it into clinical trials. His dream is close to being a reality. USciences filed a provisional patent application in June 2006 on his research to discover NMDA receptor antagonists which can be used for the treatment of neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease. Widely published, nationally respected and a patent holder, Dr. Adejare was drawn to the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences after teaching at three major universities and postdoctoral studies at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Adejare says, "USciences is at the center of the pharmaceutical universe. It's where I want to be."
