Ese Oghenejobo
2009 Public Health, MPH

Although Ese Oghenejobo currently works for the Philadelphia Youth Network, one of her research projects at USciences focused on the efficacy of medication in older people—“a really interesting project,” she says, “because it gave me exposure to the geriatric population, an area in which I had never really had experience.” Oghenejobo chose USciences because it had a “great reputation” among people she asked. “The subject matter of the program was very interesting,” she says, “and the teachers were really helpful with the students.” In particular, instructor Robert Field “really impressed me with his commitment to the students’ success,” she adds. Oghenejobo credits her USciences graduate program for helping her to “expand my skills, become an effective leader and prepare to pursue a career as a physician.”
