You might say USciences was a career starter for Francis Chrzanowski. After completing the graduate program in pharmaceutics, he set out on what would be a successful career spanning more than 40 years. Chrzanowski entered the profession through academia—teaching at the college level for a couple of years—but soon made the switch to industry. He spent 20 years at Johnson & Johnson healthcare companies, including McNeil Pharmaceuticals. “I was able to carry over my USciences education to growing topics in my field,” he said. “I was well-prepared for both teaching and industry.” Chrzanowski went on to become an independent industry consultant and serve as an expert witness in patent litigation cases.
