Stacey Gorski knew that USciences was the best school to launch her promising career in scientific research. “When I was looking at colleges, I was so impressed with the Biology department’s dedication to its students and research that USciences was the only college I applied to,” she says. Upon graduation, with three years of undergraduate research experience under her belt, Gorski landed a spot at her first-choice graduate program in the infectious disease department at the University of Virginia. “I was accepted because of the unique science background and the opportunities that USciences provided me.” Looking back, Gorski adds, “I had a fantastic experience, and I’ll forever remember the professors who encouraged my professional career. If I had to do it all over again—I wouldn’t change a thing.”
