A Silver Lining for Student Loans
A new study reported by U.S. News and World Report shows USciences graduates are at the top when it comes to repaying student loans and federal statistics back that up. The study reaffirms that USciences students are well-prepared for successful careers.

Philadelphia College of Pharmacy inducted 220 students into its professional family on Saturday, October 2. The 2014 doctor of pharmacy class was presented with pins and recited the oath of a pharmacist.

PH/TX’00 married Kathryn C. Groves PharmD’07 on June 18, 2010, in Piscadera Bay, Curacao. The guest list included Matthew S. Spaits ES’03; Kurt Reinhart PharmD’06; Jennifer M. Smith PharmD’08; Ryan A. Marek BI’07; John D. Norcross P’00; Joseph G. Materia PharmD’07; and Melissa A. Awad and Kandis A. Ferdinand, both BI’05 MT’06.

Nisha (Shah) Bhatt MPT’02 and Amit M. Bhatt PharmD’03 welcomed the birth of son Rohan on June 25, 2010.

IN MEMORIAM

1956
Robert E. Dempski P’56 died on July 24, 2009. After graduating from PCPS, he earned a doctorate in pharmaceutics from the University of Wisconsin in 1961. Survivors include his wife Margaret and children Anne, Sarah, and Robert Jr.
