Showcasing Healthy Lifestyles for Community Children
Six students from USciences visited The Sheppard Center to volunteer for Kids-4Change and help children learn about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Incoming students joined together during two-day orientation sessions in June and July to meet new classmates and get acclimated at USciences. The students will embark on their journeys on Friday, August 27 for move-in day and convocation.
Many HS-Age Students Won't Pursue Healthcare and Science Jobs
Despite the projected need for healthcare practitioners at all levels, nearly half of high school-age students are not considering pursuing a career in healthcare and science fields. The news comes as a result of a survey conducted online by Harris Interactive for USciences.

1973
Rocky Larson P'73 and his wife Jan have retired and are enjoying life on the road volunteering for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). They have led canoe trips down the Rio Grande, campground hosted in Alaska, given interpretive tours of Okefenokee Swamp, and helped restore habitat for numerous endangered species at several other locations.

Charlene Every-Rodriguez P'91, PharmaD’92 currently resides in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, with her husband John-Henry.
1992
Diane (Green) Renner P’92 married Keith Renner in Las Vegas on December 9, 2009. The couple currently reside in Harrisburg, PA.

On Monday, August 2, alumni and friends are invited to tee off at beautiful Edgmont Country Club. Located in Northern Delaware County, Edgmont Country Club is a challenging Par 70 course with large undulating greens, several changes in elevation, mature trees lining the fairways, and water in play on several holes.
