Joy Aifuwa Named 2007-08 CACC Female Scholar Athlete of the Year
Cross-country runner Joy Aifuwa was named the 2007-08 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Female Scholar Athlete of the Year on July 22. This is the third-consecutive year a student athlete has earned this honor. (read more)

Discover...Reconnect...Fall into the Fun
The campus will be the center of activity on Saturday, Sept. 27 when Alumni Reunion 2008 and Fall Fest take over the quadrangle. Activities start at 11:30 a.m. and run through 5:30 p.m. when the golden and silver graduates reunite. (read more)

Summer Institute Engages Philadelphia
Science Teachers

What did you do on your summer vacation? The answer for 13 Philadelphia School District teachers is that they attended The Summer Institute for Middle Grade Science Teachers, a four-week session at University of the Sciences to enhance the classroom experience for their students. (read more)

Class Notes

Robert Tendler
P’55 has accepted a position with Omnicare as a consultant pharmacist. After retiring from Roche Laboratories in 1987, Mr. Tendler has built a reputation as a pharmacy consultant in the outpatient mental health and development disability care communities. He and his wife Dawn have lived in Connecticut for many years. They have three children and five grandsons.

Patricia (Zelenowski) Pearce MT’88
has joined Centocor as a senior rheumatology immunology specialist. She lives in the Virginia Beach area with her husband Mitch and their two children, Morgan and Will.

Allison (Vasiliadis) Lambropoulos MPT’99
and her husband Demetri welcomed their third daughter Ava Christine on October 20, 2007. Ava joins big sisters Athena and Alexis. The family lives in Bristow, VA, where Allison works as a physical therapist in the local school system.

Josiah P. Bunting PharmD’05 opened his own pharmacy, Bunting Family Pharmacy, in Ventnor, NJ, on August 4, 2008.

The Alumni Association will recognize three alumni and an honorary alumna at the annual Alumni Association Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 27. This year's honorees are:

26th Annual Golf Outing a Hole in One
With near perfect playing conditions, the 26th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament delivered on a great outing and raised money for the Athletic Department's sports training room as well as $900 for The Make A Wish Foundation. (read more)
