USciences Student Health Insurance Policy
University
of the Sciences requires that all students registered half-time
(undergraduates with 6 or more credits; graduates with 5 or
more credits) maintain active health insurance coverage comparable
to the university-sponsored plan while in attendance at the
University. In addition, all University of the Sciences International
F1 Visa students are required to enroll in the university-sponsored
student health insurance plan.
Students with other health insurance coverage are required to notify the University of their coverage status each year in order to waive out of the university-sponsored student health insurance plan (SHIP). Students without other health insurance must enroll in the USciences SHIP.
