CART POLICY
| Policy: | Designed to reduce the risk of accidents, when transporting materials across Woodland Avenue. To provide safe handling and maneuverability across the trolley tracks. |
| Procedure: | Carts with four wheels should be used to transport
materials across the trolley tracks.
The wheels must be large enough to prevent them from being caught in the tracks. A 5 inch or greater wheel diameter is recommended. Non-swivel wheels on the front with swivel wheels on the back of the cart is also recommended. Exisiting carts may be retrofitted with larger wheels. |
