grant and contract processes. It details USciences policies and procedures
and discusses PI responsibilities. This workshop is for anyone new to USciences
and writing grants and contracts for the first time.

Find Funding - demonstrates the Community of Science funding opportunities database, grants.gove and other programs used to locate external funding. Participants will be able to use the system to search for contract and grant funds. Combined with Introduction to SP.
GrantsERA - a comprehensive grants management electronic system. It is a web-based system that simplifies proposal development, routing and review, pre and post award tracking, reporting, and award notification. Combined with Introduction to SP.
Non Grants.gov Proposals - Are you considering submitting a non grants.gov proposal? Participants will understand the difference in application process between grants.gov and non grants.gov proposal submissions. Combined with Introduction to SP.
Preparing a Budget - explain what goes into a private vs. federal budget. Participans will gain knowledge of what items to include in budgets and what items are restricted.

Getting - In 2009 Dr. Bell of Research Image came to
USciences during this speaker series. Nancy B. Bell, Ph. D. who is CEO
and President of Research Image, a worldwide research infrastructure
assistance service instructed faculty and students on grant getting.
Presentations usually are designed to provide faculty and students
with intense training in proposal submission and journal writing.
