Petition for Bachelor’s Degree Conferment (Bobby Morgan Arena)
MOT, DOT, DPT and PharmD students who entered the University as first-year students in 2008, or who transferred into those programs with a Catalog Year of 2008 before earning a bachelor's degree, are eligible to earn a bachelor’s degree during the 2011-12 academic year even as they continue their matriculation toward their professional degrees.  This is the first year that USciences will be awarding bachelor’s degrees separately from the professional degrees for students in those programs.
The ceremony is scheduled for May 18, 2012, and will be held at the Bobby Morgan Arena on campus. Eligible students must complete a petition by the petition deadline. Submitting a petition is mandatory to meet the requirements to graduate as stated in the Student Handbook. The petition form is available here or, you can pick up a copy at the Registrar’s Office.

Petition for Graduation (Mann Center for the Performing Arts)
All students who plan to graduate must submit a petition to graduate. Submitting a petition is mandatory to meet the requirements to graduate as stated in the Student Handbook.
The deadlines to submit a petition to graduate are given below.
Petitions for undergraduate and professional program students are submitted to the Registrar's Office, Whitecar-1100. The undergraduate petition is available on the web here, or the form can be picked up at the Registrar’s Office.
Graduate students submit petitions to the Dean's Office of either College of Graduate Studies or Mayes College and may be obtained from those offices.

Diploma Distribution
Students participating in the Bachelor’s Degree Conferment Ceremony (Bobby Morgan Arena)
Diplomas will not be distributed at the ceremony. Diplomas will be mailed directly to degree recipients approximately 4-6 weeks after the ceremony. Please make sure that the Registrar's Office has a valid address to mail your diploma to by completing the Diploma Address portion of the BS/BSHS petition.

Students receiving a degree in May and participating in Commencement
Diplomas are not distributed during the ceremony. Diploma pick up is immediately following the ceremony at the Mann Center. Diplomas are only released to the graduating student.

Students receiving a degree in May and not participating in Commencement
The Registrar’s Office will deliver diplomas via UPS approximately one week after Commencement. Please be sure that the Registrar’s Office has a valid current address. Note: UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. If the addressee is not present to receive the delivery, UPS will leave the package at the door.
Graduates may pick up the diploma in person, but need to call the Registrar’s Office at 215.596.8813 to make arrangements. Graduates will be required to show a valid picture ID (such as a USciences ID or Driver’s License).

Other Graduation Dates The Registrar’s Office orders diplomas from the printer on the actual date of graduation for non-May graduation dates. The printer provides the diploma to USciences approximately six to eight weeks after receiving an order.
The Registrar’s Office will then deliver diplomas to graduates via UPS. Please be sure that the Registrar's Office has a valid current address prior to your graduation date. Note: UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. If the addressee is not present to receive the delivery, UPS will leave the package at the door.
