The USciences community came together to provide enough fixings for 93 Thanksgiving meals for families throughout West Philadelphia this year. The effort, involving 40 student organizations, administrative offices, and academic departments, was organized by Associate Dean of Students Dr. Walt Perry through Anjali Chainani MS’14 in Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell’s office. The initiative was part of larger effort by the Councilwoman who secured turkeys from area business people. Dr. Perry (right) was on hand as Demi Lenox PharmD’16 dropped off Kappa Epsilon’s contribution to Rick Lewis.
