Dr. Laurie Sherwen, dean of USciences Samson College of Health Sciences, was honored by the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP) on October 19, 2011, when she was elected a fellow.
“I am truly excited to have been elected as a Fellow of the Association of Schools of the Allied Health Professions,” Dr. Sherwen said. “To be selected for this fellowship by the deans of peer health profession colleges is a great honor indeed.”
ASAHP is a national organization represented by deans of university-based schools of allied health professions.
The inscription on the award reads: “In recognition of a record of demonstrated leadership and significant contributions in allied health. Elected fellow in the ASAHP.”
