University of the Sciences has named Michael Schwartzman director of marketing and communications. Schwartzman brings to USciences a mix of higher education, ad agency, and consumer packaged goods brand management experience over his 25-year career, most recently for Bank of America in Hopewell, N.J.
At USciences, Schwartzman will have oversight for all aspects of the University’s comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. He will direct the areas of marketing, creative, public relations, and web in working to meet the University’s priorities for enrollment management, fundraising, and communications through an integrated marketing communications plan.
From 2008-11, Schwartzman was director of marketing for Drexel University Online. During his time at Drexel, Schwartzman managed all aspects of digital and traditional marketing and communications. Prior to Drexel, Schwartzman was a senior vice president for account management at The Star Group and was also vice president of marketing for Lea & Perrins.
