HepTREC at USciences continued its efforts to reduce the impact of viral hepatitis by joining more than 25 community agencies in the Hep B Free Philadelphia campaign.
Hep B Free Philadelphia is a citywide, community-owned education campaign launched to increase testing and vaccination in the fight against hepatitis B and liver cancer. Among the recent activities that HepTREC participated in was the city-wide free hepatitis B screening day on Saturday, Oct. 22. The day offered free hepatitis B screenings at area hospitals.
