The University of the Sciences rifle program was profiled in the Dec. 6, 2011, issue of the Wall Street Journal. The article "Young Scientists Take Aim" and was written by Dawn Fallik.
“The school, known as USciences, founded nearly two centuries ago as the first pharmacy school in the U.S., turns out about 200 new pharmacists a year. Its successful rifle-shooting program, which dates from 1935, pits some two-dozen science students against the likes of West Point and the U.S. Naval Academy.”
