As part of its 2008 Commencement ceremony, USP will bestow honorary doctorates of science on Dr. Abass Alavi, Professor of Radiology and Neurology at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine; Dr. John A. Gans, Executive Vice President and CEO of The American Pharmacists Association; and Bernard Poussot, President and CEO of Wyeth. The honors will be bestowed with USP's 187th graduating class on May 21 at 1 p.m., at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts.
