University of the Sciences welcomes students, faculty, and staff to explore a variety of cultures from around the world at the second annual Festival of Talent from Across the World on Thursday, April 17. The event will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. in the University’s Bobby Morgan Arena at the Athletic/Recreation Center (ARC).
“We are excited that we will have the opportunity to introduce the USciences community to an array of different cultures and traditions that our international student and faculty population brings to our campus,” said Shanaz Tejani-Butt, PhD, professor of pharmaceutical sciences and associate director of the Office of Research Administration.
This free event features traditional dance, song, ethic attire and cuisines representing the rich cultural talent at USciences. Performances include African, Filipino, and Bollywood dance, along with Irish folk singing and Armenian and Indian instrumentals.
