USP’s Ara DerMarderosian, PhD, professor of pharmacognosy, was recently honored by the American Chemical Society (ACS) for his 50 years of continued support and service. The ACS expressed a debt of gratitude to Dr. DerMarderosian for his long-standing membership by bestowing upon him a distinctive membership pin and a personalized meeting badge. The pin symbolizes his preeminent standing in the ACS community.
The ACS will also list Dr. DerMarderosian’s name in an upcoming issue of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN) among names of other distinguished members who have also achieved a half century of membership.
