Dr. Dan Benau Named Director for the Biomedical Writing Program

University of the Sciences in Philadelphia recently named Dan A. Benau, PhD, director for the Biomedical Writing Program at Mayes College of Healthcare Business and Policy.
 
Dr. Benau has served as interim director for the Biomedical Writing Program since May 2008 and has been an associate professor of biomedical writing at the University since 2005.
 
Prior to joining the University, Dr. Benau was a principle medical writer in the Global Clinical Communications Department at Wyeth-Ayerst Research, Inc. and later a regulatory medical writing consultant. Additionally, Dr. Benau is currently a chairman of the training and development track for the Drug Information Association’s 45th Annual Meeting.
 
Dr. Benau is a graduate of Boston University with an AB in physiological biochemistry and a PhD in biology. He currently resides in Villanova, Pa., with his family and enjoys photography as a hobby.
