Support for Unaffiliated Users

Those who have a need for our specialized collection are welcome to use the J. W. England Library on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm.

USciences students have first priority. If a computer is available outside users may use them to access our electronic resources, but not for general Internet access or software use.

If you are from a TCLC or PALCI institution, or from Drexel, please contact the Coordinator of Access Services for evening or weekend entry.

Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services

Unaffiliated health professionals and others may wish to register for Loansome Doc, and select the J.W. England Library as their Ordering Library. Establishing this relationship with the USciences Library enables easy placement and monitoring of requests for materials. Borrower class (i.e. for-profit, non-profit, alumni, etc.) will continue to apply to all requests placed through Loansome Doc.  

For-profit corporations may request documents or books from the Library’s in-house print collection. Holdings can be verified onlline through Our Catalog (cataLyst).  License agreements prevent us from providing any materials that are available from our online collection. The cost to obtain a copy of an article or borrow a book is $20.  Patrons are encouraged to consult a commercial document delivery service to obtain resources not held by USciences.
