New Date for Healthy Lifestyles Business Scholarship Competition: Rescheduled due to conflicts with Hurricane Sandy aftermath, the Mayes College scholarship competition will take place on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.

Dr. Marvin Schulte Named Department Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences: He comes to USciences with a distinguished record of scholarship in the areas of receptor neuropharmacology and protein bioengineering for which he has continuous federal grant support for his research.

Gary J. Starecheski P’75 was recently named Pharmacist of the Year by the Vermont Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He is clinical staff pharmacist at Fletcher Allen Healthcare Academic Medical Center. The focus of his practice includes intensive care and patient and professional education. He currently lives in Richmond, VT.
