Assistant or Associate Professors of Clinical Pharmacy

Department: Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administation, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy

Position Description: The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy invites applications for 12-month non-tenure track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy. The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration is seeking to expand our department in order to better serve our students and stay on the cutting edge of pharmacy practice.  Clinical specialties available include community practice, ambulatory care, internal medicine, oncology, and infectious disease, cardiology, and geriatrics. The successful candidate will maintain a clinical practice/teaching site at one of the numerous affiliated healthcare institutions.  Responsibilities include the education of students in the didactic and experiential components of the Doctor of Pharmacy program, scholarly pursuits commensurate with experience and interest, and service activities at the site or university. 

Required/ desired credentials/experience of applicants: Qualified candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution, be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey, and have completed preferably two years of post graduate training or equivalent clinical experience.  Candidates should exhibit a strong commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship.  We are seeking individuals with exemplary interpersonal and communication skills who will work collaboratively within the college and the university.  Salary and rank will be consistent with qualifications and experience.
