Assistant Professor, Psychology (Tenure-Track)

Purpose of the Job:

The University of the Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 10-month (tenure-track) Assistant Professor position in our psychology program. Although we will accept applications from all areas, preference will be given to applicants whose research touches upon the integration of psychology, neuroscience, and health.

Major Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will carry a reduced teaching load of 2 courses per semester for the first two years, participate in institutional service activities, and engage with students both in and beyond the classroom. 

Education and Experience:

A Ph.D. from an accredited university at the time of the appointment and evidence of research productivity and potential for securing extramural support is expected. A record of teaching excellence is also required; experience teaching introductory psychology and either developmental/adolescent psychology or methods/statistics is highly desirable.
