The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (PCP) at the University of the Sciences invites applications for a 12-month non-tenure track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy. The successful candidate will maintain an ambulatory care clinical practice/teaching site at an outpatient clinic. The faculty member at this practice site will be responsible for designing therapeutic plans for the management of chronic diseases in collaboration with other health care practitioners.

Other faculty responsibilities will include the education of students in the didactic and experiential components of the Doctor of Pharmacy program, scholarship, and service activities within the Department, College, and University.

Qualified candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution, be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania, and have completed preferably two years of post-graduate training, with a specialty in ambulatory care. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching excellence and scholarship. We are seeking individuals with exemplary interpersonal and communication skills who will work collaboratively within the College and the University.

Philadelphia College of Pharmacy is the oldest pharmacy school in the nation and part of the University of the Sciences. The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration is dedicated to educating students in pharmacy, conducting research, and performing service to advance the University, the profession, and society.

Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
