Bus transportation to the Liacouras Center will be provided to graduates on rehearsal day only. Buses will depart from 42nd Street, outside of Starbucks from 10am to 11:30am. We should return by 3:00pm.
Parking is available at the parking garage attached to the Liacouras center located at 15th & Montgomery. Parking is $14.00 per vehicle.

The organizations of Christian students (USciences Christian Fellowship, Renewal, SPARKS) will be holding a Baccalaureate Service on the morning of Commencement, Wednesday, May 22. The Baccalaureate Service will be held in STC-145 at 9:00 am, and will conclude by 10:00 am. Alumnus Neil Pitts will be the speaker. Dr. Pitts was employed at GlaxoSmithKline for most of his professional career, and has been a participant in ministry and humanitarian responsibilities in Kenya and North Philadelphia.
All are welcome to attend and we hope that you will join us.

The Legacy Society Photo Shoot
Do you have a family member (parent, aunt, uncle, cousin, spouse who is a former graduate of USciences/PCP? If so, we invite you to be photographed together for free. Our photographer will be onsite from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in McNeil STC.
Participants will receive a Legacy Society photo frame. Photographs will be featured in the summer edition of the University Bulletin.
Please email us to let us know if you would like to participate. We'll need to know your name, and the names of other legacy family members who will be photographed. Contact: p.mcnelly@usciences .edu
Photography
Photographs may not be taken during the commencement ceremony. The University will provide a photographer to take photos as each graduate receives his/her diploma and shakes hands with the President. These photographs will be mailed to the student's home address.
Graduates will receive a formal invitation to commencement events, via US mail. Please make sure we have your current mailing address prior to April 1st. A mailing address update form is available from the Registrar's office.
All graduates will receive 10 announcement cards and 8 admission tickets for the Liacouras Center. These will be distributed by each College Dean's office prior to April 16th.

Students receiving a degree in May and participating in Commencement:
Diplomas are not distributed during the ceremony. Diploma pick
up is immediately following the ceremony at the Liacouras Center.
Diplomas are only released to the graduating
student.
For students receiving a degree in May and not participating
in Commencement,
The Registrar’s Office will deliver diplomas via UPS approximately
one week after Commencement. Please be sure that the Registrar’s
Office has a valid current address. Note: UPS will not deliver
to a PO Box. If the addressee is not present to receive the
delivery, UPS will leave the package at the door.
Graduates may pick up the diploma in person, but need to call
the Registrar’s Office at 215.596.8813 to make arrangements.
Graduates will be required to show a valid picture ID (such
as a USciences ID or Driver’s License).
Other Graduation Dates The Registrar’s Office orders diplomas
from the printer on the actual date of graduation for non-May
graduation dates. The printer provides the diploma to USciences
approximately six to eight weeks after receiving an order.
The Registrar’s Office will then deliver diplomas to graduates
via UPS. Please be sure that the Registrar's Office has a valid
current address prior to your graduation date. Note: UPS will
not deliver to a PO Box. If the addressee is not present to
receive the delivery, UPS will leave the package at the door.

The Univeristy will have a special assistance team available on Commencement Day at the Liacouras Center.
Special Seating
Reserved special seating is available for persons using a wheelchair. Please contact m.albert@usciences.edu We must be notified in advance to assure availability. Seating area can accommodate one guest with wheelchair.

If you have a guest that is hearing impaired and requires assistance contact m.albert@usciences.edu
Visually Impaired Guests

Committee on Commencement Awards
The Committee on Commencement Awards and Prizes is now soliciting profiles from BS, BSHS, PharmD, MOT, and DPT candidates who will be graduating in May of 2013. If you feel that you are eligible for one or more commencement awards/prizes that are listed, you need to submit a Commencement Award Application by 11:59 PM on April 1, 2013.(Note that some prizes listed in the university catalog are not included on our list since selection is not based on student applications).
