Center for Community Connections

The Center for Community Connections assists individual students, student organizations, and University offices with finding and developing volunteer opportunities in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. The Center for Community Connections also works with community organizations to solicit University of the Sciences students as volunteers for one-time events or ongoing commitments.

Want to volunteer but don’t know where to begin?

We can help!

Current students can access our Blackboard site for a directory of community organizations working on a variety of issues. Students eligible for Federal Work Study money can be paid to volunteer with community organizations.

Financial support is available for student organizations participating in community service events

Have an idea for a community service event and don’t know where to get started?

We can help!

Service event planning assistance is available for student organizations and University offices.
