Continuing Education

The Lois K. Cohen Endowed Lecture Series in Global Health—Making Healthcare as Accessible as a Coca-Cola® is a knowledge-based, CPE activity. In order to obtain credit attendees must participate in the entire program and complete the online evaluation and learning assessment with a score of 70% or higher.

Objectives:

  1. Discuss how innovation and entrepreneurship can help save lives globally.
  2. Describe two challenges in global health and explain how innovations in global health have helped tackle these challenges.
  3. Summarize how mobile technology can be used as a tool to improve the health of low income countries.
  4. Discuss how franchises can help improve the standard of care at clinics and pharmacies in undeveloped countries.
