The Lois K. Cohen Endowed Lecture Series in Global Health— Noncommunicable Diseases: The Global Challenge is a knowledge-based, CPE activity. In order to obtain credit attendees must participate in the entire program and complete the online evaluation and learning assessment with a score of 70% or higher.

Objectives:

  1. Describe the need to address noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) as a cornerstone to promoting a global health
  2. Dispel the myths surrounding NCDs in developing countries.
  3. Explain how healthcare systems in developing countries need to change to address NCDs in children and adults
