The Lois K. Cohen Endowed Lecture Series in Global Health— Noncommunicable Diseases: The Global Challenge is a knowledge-based, CPE activity. In order to obtain credit attendees must participate in the entire program and complete the online evaluation and learning assessment with a score of 70% or higher.
Objectives:
- Describe the need to address noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) as a cornerstone to promoting a global health
- Dispel the myths surrounding NCDs in developing countries.
- Explain how healthcare systems in developing countries need to change to address NCDs in children and adults
The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
This program (0056-9999-12-073-L04-P) is acceptable for 1.5 contact hours of continuing education credit in states that recognize ACPE approved providers. In order to receive credit, you must complete the online evaluation and learning assessment with a score of 70% or higher.
