JOINING the University of the Sciences Alumni Association could not be easier.
When you were awarded a degree and graduated from either University of the Sciences or Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, you officially joined the Alumni Association.
While there is no fee, there are many privileges. As a member, you and 14,000 fellow alums have voting privileges at the Annual Alumni Meeting, as well as rights to all alumni benefits and services. We encourage you to get involved. Your voice will help shape the future of USciences. It's rewarding, important and a great way to deepen your relationship with your alma mater.
The Alumni Association supports the University by fostering a strong sense of shared history and tradition among alumni, faculty and students and by encouraging personal and professional involvement in the University community.
Governance and Meetings
The Association's elected officers and directors plan activities and set policy. The officers, who serve two-year terms, are the President, President Elect, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. These officers, together with a minimum of fifteen directors, re-elected for a three-year term, and the Alumni Representatives to the University Board of Trustees, constitute the Board of Directors. The Alumni Representatives usually serve three-year terms on the University Board of Trustees.
As members of the Alumni Association, all alumni are invited to attend our Association Board meetings which are held four times a year on campus, typically the first Thursday in October, December, February and April. Visit our Calendar of Events for exact dates and times.
The Board's Executive Committee, consisting of the officers, Immediate Past President and one director, sets the agenda for Board Meetings and can act on matters between regular meetings and report to the full Board at its next meeting.
