New Student Checklist:

  • Review your acceptance packet when you receive it in the mail.
  • Reserve your place as a student:
    First-Year Students: Deadline is May 1, 2013
    Transfer and Professional Students: Check your acceptance letter for your individual enrollment deadline and code.
  • Enroll online now OR submit the forms in your accepted student package. You can download an enrollment reservation form here.

This year's enrollment reservation is $500. For those who plan to live on campus, there is an additional $200 housing deposit.

 

  • Apply for financial aid by filing the FAFSA online no earlier than January 1, 2013 and by the priority filing date of March 15, 2013.
  • Send any AP scores, IB scores, and official college transcripts to the Admission Office for credit evaluation. Transfer and professional students should do this as soon as items become available. This will allow us to update your Transfer Credit Evaluation and schedule your classes for the fall most accurately.
  • Complete necessary Master Promissory Notes and/or Entrance Counseling needed for loan application; the Financial Aid Office will notify you of the steps to follow.
  • Complete the medical history questionnaire and health insurance form over the summer; contact Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) with questions.
  • First-Year Students: Take the self-directed writing placement exercise in June. You will be emailed instructions when it's time to complete the exercise.
  • Physical Therapy Students: Review and submit the Essential Functions/Technical Standards of Physical Therapy.
  • Pharmacy Students: Review and submit the Technical Standards for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program.

  • An individual visit includes a campus tour and/or meeting with an admission counselor. Call 888.996.8747 to book your appointment.

Residence Life Options

Housing Policy: All unmarried first- and second-year students under the age of 21 whose permanent address is beyond the 30-mile commuting range are required to reside in University housing.

Living on Campus?
  • Review the student housing agreement.
  • Check out living options in the residential life guide.
  • Submit your housing deposit by May 1st if planning to live on campus.
  • Learn more about housing for incoming students and make any housing or roommate requests in the spring.
  • You will receive your room assignment and roommate(s) information in July.
  • Join your residence hall’s Facebook page in July!
Eligible to Live off Campus?
  • Visit the Off Campus Housing website to review apartment options.
  • Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy students taking a required summer class may live on campus during summer classes and move off campus before the fall semester.

First-Year Students: Orientation will be held:

  • Wednesday, June 19 thru Thursday, June 20
  • Monday, June 24 thru Tuesday, June 25
  • OR Wednesday, June 26 thru Thursday, June 27

Transfer (BS programs) and Professional Pharmacy Students: Orientation will be held on July 22, 2013. Check your email for your invitation and more information!

Professional Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Students: Orientation will be held in May 2013 during your first week of classes. Check your email for more details!
