  • Review your acceptance packet when you receive it in the mail.
  • Reserve your place as a student:
    First-Year Students: Deadline is May 1, 2014
    Transfer and Professional Students: Check your acceptance letter for your individual enrollment deadline and code.
  • Enroll online now OR submit the forms in your accepted student package. You can download an enrollment reservation form here.

  • Apply for financial aid by filing the FAFSA online:
    • Spring transfer students, complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.
    • Fall students, complete the FAFSA no earlier that January 1, 2014 and by the priority filing date of March 15, 2014.
  • Send any AP scores, IB scores, and official college transcripts to the Admission Office for credit evaluation. Transfer and professional students should do this as soon as items become available. This will allow us to update your Transfer Credit Evaluation and schedule your classes most accurately.
  • Complete necessary Master Promissory Notes and/or Entrance Counseling needed for loan application; the Financial Aid Office will notify you of the steps to follow.
  • Contact Student Health and Counseling with any health insurance questions.
  • First-Year Students: Complete the following self-directed writing placement exercises by June 30th to be placed into the appropriate math and writing courses.

    Transfer students will be contacted via email if the math and/or writing placement exercises are necessary

  • Physical Therapy Students: Review and submit the Essential Functions/Technical Standards of Physical Therapy.
  • Pharmacy Students: Review and submit the Technical Standards for the Doctor of Pharmacy Program.

Visit Campus

  • Attend Accepted Student Day. Come to campus and interact with current students, speak with faculty about your major and learn more about life as a USciences student. More information and registration.
  • Experience a day as a USciences student before enrolling. Shadow days are an opportunity to attend a class and interact with current students. More information and registration.
  • An individual visit includes a campus tour and/or meeting with an admission counselor. Call 888.996.8747 to book your appointment.
  • Can't make it to campus or just have a few questions? Attend an upcoming online chat and remind your parents about parent chats just for them.

Residence Life Options

Housing Policy: All unmarried first- and second-year students under the age of 21 whose permanent address is beyond the 30-mile commuting range are required to reside in University housing.

Living on Campus?
  • Spring transfer students, look for your housing assignment about 2 weeks after you submit your deposit. Review the student housing agreement.
  • Fall students, submit your housing deposit by May 1st if planning to live on campus.
    • Review the student housing agreement.
    • Learn more about housing for incoming students by reviewing the residential life guide.
    • Make any housing or roommate requests in the spring - check your e-mail for instructions.
    • You will receive your room assignment and roommate(s) information in July.
    • Join your residence hall’s Facebook page in July!
Eligible to Live off Campus?
  • Visit the Off Campus Housing website to review apartment options.
  • Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy students taking a required summer class may live on campus during summer classes and move off campus before the fall semester.


Spring Transfer Students: Orientation is held in January before the semester begins.

First-Year Students: Register for one of the following June 2014 Orientation sessions:

  • Wednesday, June 18 thru Thursday, June 19
  • Monday, June 23 thru Tuesday, June 24
  • OR Wednesday, June 25 thru Thursday, June 26

Transfer (BS programs) and Professional Pharmacy Students: Orientation will be held July 21, 2014. Check your e-mail for your invitation and more information!

Professional Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Students: Orientation will be held in May 2014 during your first week of classes. Check your e-mail for more details!
