Learning Management Systems

University of the Sciences currently uses two learning management systems (LMS), Blackboard Learn and Angel.

Blackboard Learn 9.1

Blackboard Learn 9.1 is the primary learning management system at University of the Sciences. Blackboard Learn is a single highly customizable and intergrated system with tools for hosting online courses, storing and managing course material, collaborating on documents and projects, conducting live synchronus online clas ses, and assessing the success of students and courses.

Angel

Note: USciences' contract with Angel ends at the beginning of July 2012, following that end date Angel courses and their materials will no longer be available. Please work with the Academic Technology staff to transition your courses to Blackboard for future offering.

Angel is the other learning management system at the University. Students who have courses in Angel are automatically enrolled in Angel and will see links to their course content once they login. There are several several steps to making sure that the computer used to run Angel is properly set up. View these Angel Introduction Screencasts:
