Office of Academic Technology
The Office of Academic Technology is charged with advancing all aspects of academic technology on campus. The goal is to provide the teaching and learning platforms that will move the University forward in classroom learning, hybrid learning (classroom and online), and distance learning.
Educational technologies supported by this department include: learning management (Blackboard Learn and Angel LMS), web conferencing (Blackboard Collaborate), video conferencing (Lifesize HD), wikis, blogs and podcasts (Google Apps for Education), and classroom technologies including audience response (TurningPoint), lecture capture (Panopto and Mediasite), and interactive podium displays (Smart Podium).
