The pre-medical option provides you with outstanding preparation for a career in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, or podiatry. Featuring a rigorous education in the sciences and many opportunities for hands-on learning, the program exposes you to various fields in the health sciences and offers a variety of experiences so you can decide for yourself whether further medical training is for you. You will work with a pre-med advisor from the very beginning of your college education.
You may stay in the pre-medical option program for up to two years while you decide which major to pursue. But the support and mentoring from your pre-med advisor doesn’t end once you’ve chosen a major. You will transition into our pre-med advising program, where a dedicated faculty guides you through the rigors of preparing for admission into medical, dental, veterinary, optometry, or podiatry school.
