Lisa Thayer, MEd
Assistant Director, Pre-Health Professions Program
Ms. Thayer holds a master of educational counseling and psychology in education degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She comes to University of the Sciences with over twenty years of experience in higher education, most recently as assistant director, office of admissions and financial aid, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Suzanne Murphy, PhD

As a member of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions—the only national organization of its kind in the country—Dr. Murphy interacts with all types of professional schools throughout the United States, which directly benefits the students she counsels. Her knowledge of the medical school application process and her connections within the educational community are extensive. Dr. Murphy is also the recipient of many faculty recognition awards, has completed post-doctoral fellowships at both SmithKline and French Laboratories and Albert Einstein Medical Center, and has authored more than 50 grants, papers, and published abstracts.
William R. Law, PhD
Vice Dean, Misher College of Arts and Sciences

In addition to his role as vice dean, Dr. Law is a member advisor of the pre-health professions team. Prior to joining the University in 2005, he held positions within the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. There he was active in the education and training of surgical residents and medical, dental, pharmacy, and other health professional students. He brings to USciences his academic background and depth of experience in preparing students for entry into the medical professions.
