Physics faculty in the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Statistics supplement their hands-on classroom instruction with advanced research in many of the field’s most prominent areas, including materials science and nanotechnology. They also collaborate with faculty members at other regional and national universities. Often students assist them in these efforts.
