Algebra, ring and module theory. More specifically: rings of quotients, algebras of operators, torsion theories, Baer *-rings, finite von Neumann algebra, derivations on rings.

Undergraduate Student Research Projects. Co-author and student advisor for 5 research projects presented at Scholarly Day, held annually in April at the University of the Sciences at Philadelphia.
Curriculum Development and Teaching Innovations. The outcomes of these activities are summarized in seven Documents of Innovations published by USciences in 2003, 2005 and 2006.
- Created “Topics in Mathematics with Applications to Chemistry'' (MA360) in 2004.
- Introduced reformed calculus ideas and MATLAB to calculus courses at USciences, 2003. This was the first time that a computer application for mathematical calculations was incorporated in the curriculum at USciences.
- Expanded the topics of a freshman class by relating biology and mathematics
