Biography
Before joining the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Dr. Pfeiffenberger was the vice president of learning and organizational development at excelleRx, a nation-wide pharmacy company that provides medication management services to terminally ill, hospice patients. In this position, she led the company’s Education Department and was responsible for all corporate training programs for the organization’s 750 employees and national, clinical continuing education programs to over 800 hospice organizations.
Dr. Pfeiffenberger earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University receiving a specialty certification in management. Following graduation, she completed a one year specialty residency in palliative care at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Dr. Pfeiffenberger also earned her Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University.
Dr. Pfeiffenberger is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) as well as the American Association for Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
