Biography
Dr. Craig Whitman is Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration at University of the Sciences. He has a clinical practice at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ.
Dr. Whitman received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. He then completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the VA Western New York Healthcare System and a Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy.
Dr. Whitman teaches in the Practice Laboratory/Case Studies courses as well as in the Pharmacotherapeutics course sequence. Dr. Whitman also teaches in the Critical Care Therapeutics elective and is director of the PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency program. He serves as a preceptor at Cooper University Hospital in the ICU with a clinical rotation in critical care. Dr. Whitman’s research interests involve the clinical use of drug therapy in critically ill patients.
Dr. Whitman is an active member of American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, and Society of Critical Care Medicine
