Biography
Dr. Schwartz is Director of Community Pharmacy Experience. In addition, he is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Schwartz earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at the Bernard J Dunn School of Pharmacy and his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. He is a registered pharmacist and a certified diabetes educator.
Prior to coming to the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, Dr. Schwartz was the Director of Clinical Services in the Rite Aid Corporation’s Pharmacy Health Services division where he was responsible for a wide variety of pharmacist directed patient services.
Dr. Schwartz’s experiences include hospital, long term care, and community pharmacy. His areas of interest include immunizations, diabetes, and medication therapy.
