Biography
Michael J. Cawley, PharmD., BS., RRT, CPFT is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
Dr. Cawley is recognized for his leadership within the pharmacy profession including a member of both the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). He is also a well published author, medical consultant, pharmaceutical advisory board member and editorial reviewer for several biomedical journals including Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Critical Care Medicine and editorial board member of Annals of Pharmacotherapy (Critical Care Section). He is also recognized as an outstanding educator and professional speaker and has served in this capacity in speaking for pharmaceutical industry as well as national and international conferences and professional meetings. Dr. Cawley has practiced as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for 13 years at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pennsylvania. He is also credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist in which he practiced in critical care for 12 years.
Dr. Cawley graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science receiving both his Baccalaureate and Doctor of Pharmacy degree’s respectively. He completed a post-doctorate specialty residency in Surgical Critical Care Pharmacy Practice at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in conjunction with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA.
