Eriksson, J.Karlsson received the Hughston Award for the most outstanding paper published in 2010 in The American Journal of Sports Medicine for the paper entitled, “Acute Achilles Tendon Rupture: A Randomized, Controlled Study Comparing Surgical and Nonsurgical Treatments Using Validated Outcome Measures.” The award was presented at The American OrthopaedicSociety for Sports Medicine Annual Meeting, San Diego, July 7, 2011.
