Changing Your Password Within Your Account

To help protect your Windows Live Hotmail account, you should periodically change your password.

1. In the upper-right corner of the Windows Live Hotmail home page, click Options, and then click More options.
2. Under Manage your account, click View and edit your personal information.
3. Next to Password, click Change.
4. Type your old password, type your new password twice, and then click Save.

Notes

• Never give your password to anyone. No one from Windows Live Hotmail will ever ask you for your password.
• Periodically changing your secret question will also help protect your account.
